Start with the manual. For real. Give it a read, THEN load the software. Then read the manual again, but this time start configuring your setup, options, etc…then play!
+1 to what Chilly said.
Read and practice. There are also youtube videos.
Rock out and you’ll figure it out.
+1 with Chilly, plus I would hook up with other dj’s in your area that use traktor so you can get a feel of how they use it.
Ive only been using Traktor Pro about a month and half now, I came from using Virtual DJ and Serato Scratch live. I started using traktor to compliment my VCI-100. I dont think i am a pro in it by any means yet, but Practice everyday has surely let me much more comfortable in using this software, which i was very intimidated by at first.
Its just looked and felt so different from other software. But definitely read the manual, also check out the Native Instruments Forum. A lot of good info on there as well. But they arent as nice (er so i ve heard).

[/quote]lol…that’s just me.
Its because people who have shit equipment and dont read the manual blame the Moderators for the software not working.
I heard they are real nice guys. Especially the small one.
Uhm, again, no offense, but seriously, do you REALLY have to give me any more ammunition?
…something about a band-aid and microscope comes to mind…
I have no idea what this means. Are you a scientist with a cut finger ?

my learning method is to tinker/experiment to figure most of the software out. then when questions come up I’ll refer to the manual first. If I still can’t figure it out i’ll ask on a webforum (like this one for instance) .
