A friend of mine is an sound technician, and he let me have a wee listen to his headphones today, which i can honestly say are the clearest sounding headphones i’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. I’ve tried Beats, Sony and Sennhiessers knowing full well I wouldnt be able to afford them, but these were just beautiful and about half the price!
He had a set of DT 150’s, and apperently they do ones specifically made for DJing with as well, just giving those considering a new set of cans a heads up that these are very very nice!
I have some Beyer’s that I use for professional use. I don’t use them for DJing as they’re really more for critical monitoring and not built very DJ friendly. They’re great headphones though.
I work as a sound technician/engineer for a Government deparment, and we use a BeyerDynamic entire rig. I’ve a 140kg rack that I take full over gadgets and gixzmos by BeyerDynamis. I’m also have inside contacts with them at Polar Audio near Brighton (who are essentially BeyerDynamic UK).
I have to say that their gear is good. And the headphones have absolutely awesome quality!

My contact is the Beyer specialist and I could probably get some kind of discount unless they’ve tightened up their belts during recession! I had a 30% discount off some headphones in the past from them.
