what does every1 think to bit coins. Have you all heard of them?
This could be the biggest thing since the internet. It would mean the decentralisation of money. This could literally over throw goverments.
The US goverment seem to be keeping a close eye on this what are your thoughts

i dont think much of them to be honest,but i dont think much of real money either, as long as i have enough to get me by, im a happy camper 
its a very complicated issue. it could cause alot of issues for goverments. As all goverments really do is control the currency. If they loose this control they loose everything. As much as we all hate goverment would we want to live without it

I think that its a cool idea.
I skimmed through the article opposing the idea.
They guy whos breaking down the economics is saying that the current money system is effective and is using it to shoot down the bitcoin idea.
I dont have a sweet clue about economics, but my sexy lady is starting her masters in sociology and she gets on with her bit about the social aspects of money.

The first one was a bitcoin one and it “capped off” whereas the tweet one increase infinitly if may seem.
This is the problem with our current money system. They keep printing money.
The more money we print, the less its worth. So then what happens is in order to make a profit, the shit gotta get cheaper so then they got to make workers wages lower.
Wages stay low and cost goes up. 10 years later. We got the recession. People are starving to death because we “cut” the money so much that its pretty well baking soda. We all love baking soda.
The fact that the bitcoin eventually doesn’t increase anymore maintains the values of things. You cdj2000 would always be worth 3 grand.
Of course, this isnt want big business’ want. So for something like bitcoin to work, we need to change everything. This might be where the guy 'debunking" the coins is coming from.

No offence mate, but i think you could have left it at that. The current financial crisis was caused by toxic assets and bad debt, not inflation.

That’s not how it works though is it. Wages rise with inflation as well as prices, and we don’t print too much more money than is destroyed (dollar bills don’t last forever). It’s all very carefully controlled.

The mint doesnt really make new money it is the banks but the goverment kinda control how much they make.
The way our current system works it has to fail at some point when that point is no1 knows. The idea is, is to take measures so it doesnt happen in our lifetime.
would decentralising money work. I think bit coins really could become a very good alternative currency, currency is also only worth the demand for that currency, this is why wen u print more the value goes down
