black platters?
in the process of getting up and running with the firmware upgrade and the overlay. totally love it!
but i have a silver vci-100 and the silver platters on the black overlay is not quite right. do you guys do overlays or different platters on the SE? is it possible to get some of those?

You will have to paint your jogs, theres some threads on this - just do a search on the forum.
The problem with putting overlays on the jogs is that you will lose the touch sensitivity, which means your jogs wont function anymore.

now that i’ve been playing with them, i see what you’re talking about. they’re capacitive? you guys should totally release those black wheels.

Consider them purchased, along with the overlay, black knobs, and serial flash kit if you do.
The only thing holding me back from ordering all the other stuff is having ugly silver jogwheels.

Im gonna have to pick some up for my OG VCI-100SE, the 1st jog wheel grips left a film of the glue.
how exactly do they work? took the metal bit off the other day to see what happened and could only use scratch mode if i touched a screw?

And if you could change the write up on the jogs with Tech Tools or something else.Don`t like the stock one..
