Boiler Room Tonight SXSW
Just wondering if any fellow DJTT folks will be attending tonight?
Just to say it was a shit show… skream was wasted and ended up throwing CDJ’s into the crowd after getting cut short.
If that was a rock concert it would have been hailed as a masterpiece.
Well, after you’ve dropped as much bass as he has, it’s only a matter of time before you move on to other valuable objects.

I would do some messed up shit for some CDJ’s , yet he finds it acceptable to go CDJ smashing .
Seems like a great guy.
Noise ordinances here differ neighborhood to neighborhood so they had to kill it at 2 and skream came on late, also the sound tech guy was messing stuff up during his set.
watched the vid again and it looks like it was someone else who chucked it though it looked like it was skream from where we were last night.
The place was rowdy as fuck and pretty much a disaster since it was SXSW and there was free booze throughout the week
I’m a local DJ in Austin, and this was my favorite show of all SXSW. I saw the CDJ toss into the crowd but I think someone caught it by the cords and it didn’t hit the floor. Someone in the audience was just fist pumping with it until the sound guy ran up super mad and yanked it back from him. Then as they were cleaning up I saw the sound guy try and plug it back in to test if it worked and then a look of disappointment on his face so who knows?!!?
According to a post on Twitter, it checked out okay in the end. Still bloody stupid though lol.
Nahh the best was after the skreamizm showcase he, plastician and disclosure played a sloppy b2b set
