Bots
Alright, for serious guys, can we do SOMETHING to keep the bots away? Add Captcha? Get some more mods who DON’T live in Australia (even if they do keep crazy hours like Bento)? something? Anything?
Spam kills forums. We need to do what we can to keep it to a minimum.

Captchas are easily broken and only serve to annoy real users.
Im pretty much checking out this forum every hour, I would be up for doing some cleaning when needed. 
If not that, then something. It’s just an idea. There’s gotta be something we can do.
We have been talking the last couple days about introducing some extra spam detection, if all goes well we will have something up soon.

Hmm. I would say a “secret answer” spam filter would be easier than this.

I have never tested this on vbulletin, so if it doesn’t work right I apologize. But I did use something very similar on phpbb. It’s free

@Foreverhex - I think we need to wait for the firmware upgrade to MIDI-HD for the EKS Otus, and then we might be able to touch-screen our way to victory.

Seriously try that mod in the link I gave. It will cut down bots very very fast. You can even change the question ever once in a while to make sure the bots can’t “learn”.
