Bounce loop in Traktor pro 2?

Hey guys, so I just saw this video about the updated djay app for ipad2(video below), and I really like the “bounce loop” effect that it is able to do. I currently run an S4 and an X1 with traktor pro 2. I am wondering if it would be possible to map something like this to some buttons on the X1? Has anyone tried to map or use something like this before? I really like the idea of being able to hold and release the loop without pushing it on then off again.

I believe setting Beatmasher at various points via a few control buttons would do the trick. This is what’s configured on the MidiFigher Instant Gratification mapping and it has a very similiar, if not the same, effect.

Thanks! I will look into this, I was actually thinking of a midi fighter sometime down the road. Might do the trick nicely

i <3 my Midifighter. one of the best investments ive made… effects are so much more intuitive to use rather than the knobs on teh x1 or the s4 for that matter. (just my opinion)

Yep, that’s pretty much beatmasher.

There’s a thread about getting the X1 to do most of it with two decks only though.
