bouncing off the walls!!
hi guys! just thought i’s share my glee (not the sh*te that’s on tv!) after working my arse off on the quiet nights in the two venues i play at (owned by the same person) for almost a year and doing my utmost best to turn poor nights around, i have just been given a friday night, granted it may not be the main saturday night, however it is main room in a 1100 venue and i couldn’t believe it when he offered it to me. as i haven’t been dj’ing all too long, i did say to him not to expect miracles with a night that is really bad and that i would do my best to turn it around, his response was " just do what you’ve been doing every night and i’ll be happy!"
well … it’s nice every now and then to know that you’re appreciated.
