Brilliant response to “explain what do big name DJ’s do on stage like I’m 5” on reddi

Sifting through EILI5 on reddit and found this pretty interesting response to the subject of what do dj’s do. Don’t know how well it applies to the big name acts mentioned but a good read all the same, though you lot might enjoy it.

Pretty good - he makes a really good case for DJs, too.

except Deadmau5 doesnt DJ and Tiesto and Steve Angello are not good DJs

So yeah, it didn’t directly answer the question but that’s not really the point, its just a good post on what dj’s do and how much effort goes into a set.
