Broken PCV275 for £50 (78$)

Howdy

Just after a quick bit of advice; I’ve been offered a broken Vestax PCV 275 mixer for £50 ($78). Apparently two of the line faders are bust, but I haven’t had a chance to have a look so they could (possibly) be salvageable.

Thinking about getting it because, at some point, I want to augment my current setup of VCI100SE and an X1 to include CDJs or ideally a Traktor DVS.

I think I can get new line faders, if needed, for around £30 ($47)

So, questions:

  1. Has anyone swapped faders on this mixer, or simialar, before? How hard is it? I swapped the X-fader on my VCI100 recently and that wasn’t too bad…

  2. Is it worth it for the price?

Swapping um out is a breeze..I would be all over this deal.
