Hey guys!
I accidentaly broke my VCI’s line fader.
It seems like the top sreew is broken, but the bottom one still holds. I broke it by pressing too hard on it to try to get the fader cap to hold.
Anyone knows where I can find a remplacement fader in Europe? Or at least knows the reference of the part? I tried to look on the vestax website and in fader shops but I could find one compatible with the VCI.
By the way is it easy to change? I’ve never actually opened any of my gear, so I’m quite scared of breaking everything!
opening up the gear isn’t too bad, I would suggest a quick search around the forums for people who are modding their VCI, can’t remember the guys name, he is adding a 3rd line fader to his vci, so there should definitely be some stuff on it.

it will take a little bit of soldering but it is definitely worth it.
the faders mentioned in the above link cost about $15 including shipping to the states. I reckon it wont be to much more expensive to ship them to europe.
That Mouser place has rip off shipping rates to Europe. They wanted like 45.00 to ship to Europe by International Priority Mail that weighs maybe around 10 oz ..
I have a VCI - 100 I am selling off for parts. I recently moved and I believe it got dropped. So far it all works except for the computer - controller interface.
Sliders, jog and buttons still all work. Just windows wont recognize it anymore.
I was thinking 100$ for the whole unit but we can work something out if you like. PM me and we can work out details and logistics.
