Browse knob jumps

hey guys..

after heavy usage of the s4 since i bought it when it came out, my browse knob often skips, jumps over a track or doesnt move the highlited area at all..
sometimes the loop length knob does this in browse mode too..

is there a possibility of removing the fader cap? i tried, but didnt want to apply too much force..

or will cleaning the underneath with some canned air do the trick?

Yes you can remove the caps on all the knobs of the S4.

do you feel the encoders looser or any sign of usage? maybe a mapping reimport o reset to default might help.

I have this same problem.
I intermittently get no response from the browse knob.
Happens all the time, every gig.

no the encoder is not loose. it only jumps.. i still have the problem and will give back the s4 to the store over summer..
