I recently purchased a used Midi Fighter Twister, what a great piece of gear! It really enables some of my creative workflows. I run Linux on my machine, so booting into a Windows VM just to run the configuration utility was quite annoying. With a bit of vibe coding, I created a browser-based configuration utility that allows me to configure the device from Linux. Or really any OS that runs a Chrome-based browser. The code and tool are available on GitHub. Maybe this is useful to someone else besides just me
Contributions and bug reports are certainly welcome.
That’s pretty cool ![]()
There’s a new Twister firmware that dropped yesterday with quite a few fixes and new features so you’ll want to check it out and update your tool
Thank you for letting me know about this. I’ll give it a try as soon as possible. Will the updated firmware source code be made available on GitHub as well? It looks like that repo has received its last commit 2 years ago.
Yup! We are waiting for a few days to implement any critical fixes users might encounter before updating it.
