Buying equipment as a beginner.
I’ve been using virtual DJ for a couple of months and I can mix and DJ while partying with friends. Whats should be the next move. Which equipment should I purchase? I haven’t got too much money. I was thinking about buying Behringer 2A, very simple and I think good for me as a beginner. Need suggestions.
whats your budget? and future plans?
Right now the budget is $250. Its not that I can’t spend more but I need to know if I should spend much as a beginner. Future plan is to play weekly in parties. Its my passion, not a source of income. I don’t want/need to play everyday as I don’t have much time.
This is important to factor.
If you plan on just partying with friends, then go with something simple, maybe even used off of ebay or craigslist.
If you plan on gigging, then maybe consider the value of new gear with a warranty as well!
