Hi there could someone shed some light on this problem i have.
I have a maya 44 usb soundcard and am using traktor scratch pro 2
basically just noticed on my new laptop when i playback songs there is a constant pulsating buzzing sound it is faint but definately there you can hear it well in parts of songs where not much is going on e.g. strobe (full version)
after messing about with the settings i noticed that if i switched the sample rate in traktor to 48000 (previously at 44100) the buzzing went away. What are the pros/cons of using 48000 ?
on my older gig shuttle xpc the buzzing is not there at all nor on my desktop pc just this new laptop. Its a toshiba c660 with a i3 cpu.
i know it isnt a grounding problem as that was my first thought.
hmmm could there be a problem with my soundcard? its fairly new about 4 months old although i have used it in a club a few times.
i hope this question isnt too confusing and you get what am talking about
oh i know i had that issue at the start but that was with the built in sound, after changing the sample rate on the maya44 av played a hour or two within traktor and all is sounding as it should
Yes, that soundcard is sub standard compared to the Audio 8/10 that you “should” own if you have a legit copy of TSP2.

well said i think people on forums these days tend to be a tad cold and the fact your on a computer they just end up being so aggressive and cause people to turn away, its one of the reasons i tend to keep away.
am not the only one with a dodgy copy at the end of the day and not all of us can just go out and buy a s4 or audio 8 and get a legal copy, i have alot of respect for the software and soon as am making enough i will definately buy it.
Yes, I have moderated the Native Instruments for forum for many years. I am aware of all the permutations of the software and how someone can own TSP without owning an NI Audio 4/6/8. There is only one legitimate way.

Read my first post. I wrote “no accusation”… This is what i write everytime i try to catch someone out who is using a crack. I have caught many many people out over the years on the NI and DJTT forum.
My “conclusions” as you put it were in fact correct and were based on my vast experience. I was right (Photojojo missed the point and agreed) and i was polite so, you are incorrect to think that i am "down peoples throats" but you know that, you just wanted an excuse to have a go at a Moderator or just me?
I help every new user in any way i can and do it way more than you do.
I am also here to uphold rules and i do not help users with cracked software which is the same as every other Moderator. I cant think for the life of me why you have singled this thread out when all other Mods shut threads on cracked software. This shows some inbalance in your judgement on this thread.(?)
This forum does not approve of the use of cracked software so i am upholding the forums ethics. What is your issue with that? Whatever it is i suggest you direct it to Forum Administration.
