calibrating knobs on s5?

calibrating knobs on s5?

a few of my eq knobs on my s5 i bought from djtt dont line up with traktor. what i mean is, if my knob is set in the middle position (12 oclock), trakor says it is +10. Is there a way to fix this?

sure double clicking on the offset traktor knob will set it to 0 but it defaults back to +10

There should be an S5 panel at the bottom of the Preferences menu. There you should find Knob/Fader calibration functions. At least that’s where i found them for the S4, S8 and F1.

I had a similar issue with the S5 that I purchased from DJTT, except with the FX knobs. Two of the knobs were doing the same thing but once calibrated, they were fine. However, after powering the unit off and back on again, they went right back where they were before, consistently. Shipped it to NI last week and they’ve got a replacement on the way.
