Calling Ableton Twister Users - Please vote for Twister Script Development

Hey Folks,
NativeKontrol is developing a new line of control scripts for Ableton Live called Arsenal. The Twister is currently not supported but there is a feature request page where you can vote for new controllers or addition functionality for the scripts.

I started a feature request for MF Twister support. If you are at all familiar with the NativeKontrol scripts for Push or the APC40 then you are well aware how great they are. And the new modular, Arsenal line of scripts takes things to the next level.

If you want help super charge your twister, please sign up and vote here.

Thanks

Hey thanks for sharing! So with the nativeControl you can basically edit their existing script and simply swap the CC’ to match the Twister and viola controls are working.. Interesting.

Maybe we can work on the template and actually bypass votes and requests.
What kind of layout would you prefer for the Twister?

Hi,
With Arsenal you purchase different pluggable modes. These are either Matrix Modes, for controllers with a button matrix, or Encoder Modes, for controllers with encoders. I assume if he develops an Arsenal Twister script it would make use of both Matrix and Encoder Modes. The nice part is that you only purchase the modes once, and they work on any Arsenal supported controllers that have Encoders and/or a button Matrix. I like this approach because it is customizable and expandable.

Here’s a video that outlines Arsenal:

And links to their encoder and matrix modes:

Right now I use the MF Twister Ableton 9.6 Script with my twisters, which I like, but it seems a bit limited compared to what I use with Arsenal and its Push2 and Launchpad scripts. But if you guys were to develop something similar I’d definitely be interested.

Thanks
