Calling All Southeast US DJ’s (or anyone who can get out there :stuck_out_tongue:)

one of my recent friends i made in this whole DJ’ing shabang heads up a company called Dominant Sound, and they’re organizing an event on private property up in Tenn. called Alpha Palooza (same place i think that Bonnaroo is held at (?)), and he’s asked me to recruit any and all DJs/performers (this includes bands, really any live performance) that want to perform up there, and in his words “make it a big party”. it’s going to be held the 3 days around the July 4th weekend (3-5), and i think it would be really cool if we had a bunch of TT acts up there to rep it up. i’ll definitely be up there spinning at least some dubstep/electro sets!

I second that, with not only dnb, but also minimal, techno, tech house, progressive house, deep house, some breaks and some dubstep.

Of course this is a triple deal, Bento, dannyboy and myself need to be present. :wink:

But to be honest, if I’d happened to be there, I would also do it free of charge, as it would be a cool thing, just to spin with friends! :smiley:

hell yeah, i can imagine if you’re going from paying gigs this isn’t much of a draw, but really money was the last thought on my mind when i got offered this opportunity. it’s great exposure to anyone who wants to get their name out there!

but i imagine not many gigs have required dropping a bit of cash on international flights without any compensation except exposure :stuck_out_tongue:

I can make it for some gas money and a place to sleep, thats all I need and I’m there, actually just let me play and I’ll find a way, sent a pm with my album and a performance set, hit me up cause I love road trips and party’s

since it’s kind of a festival deal, i’m pretty sure we’re all campin it out on this extent of farm land :stuck_out_tongue: so, place to sleep would be anywhere from your car to a tent to just straight up on the ground haha.

i’ll get all your info/material to the guy asap and let you know, he said he’s open for anyone/everyone so i’d mark your calendar :stuck_out_tongue:

no doubt! i just sent the guy your info and links you sent me, just waiting on the final word (even though it’s basically a for sure all-systems-go) from him and i’ll let you know details.

edit: also dl’ing the set, pretty cool you dj originals that’s a lot of work for real!

I’ve been producing for 10 years now, just got into controllerism/Digital DJ’ing as a means to perform and spread my sound.

sadly, im playing at cornerstone festival on the 1st of july.
but if anyone is doing anything in june, i will be in richmond for most of the month.

if you can give me some details and contact info i’ve got a bunch of hot dj’s right here in nashville that may be available these cats are leading the hip hop scene here you can check them out by googling yung and ugly and mashville i’ve been hosting some of these guys at my club and the feedback from my regular crowd has been great.
