Can I get Traktor 2.5 free?

Not really sure if this thread is really in the right area or not, but here goes anyway.

I bought my S4/Traktor Pro 2 in July 2011 so does that mean I won’t be elligable for a free updrade to Traktor Pro 2.5?

One of my mates reckons it’s ony if you registered Traktor in 2012.

Can any one clear this up for me please.

If you have a registered version of Pro 2 you will get the update, simple as that.
