But more to thee point i view Ean and his team as pros and would at least of appreciated some sort of UPDATE feed as to what is going on regards to S4 Mappin,
I have screwed my S4 up soooo badly trying to emulate this mapping!
I hope this mapping drops before the weekend! Otherwise Iām screwed!!
@killmedj why? You can erase the mapping(s) and import a fresh one.

i wish they would have waited on the s2 mapping and dropped both at the same time. dang.
Yeah I did that, but it seems to have screwed with my FX on/off buttons and the pitch faders.
Could be hardware related. =(
Hey everyone,
I talked to ean on wednesday after he DJed at my party. He said S4 mapping is coming really soon and that it fixes all the bugs from the NI mapping (thank god). He also told me that there are lots of cool FX mappings and presets like on the S2 mapping. No specific date but he said soon. He said that it will also function as a āTemplate/Starting Pointā for further tweaking, something which is currently impossible on the stock S4 mapping. Cannot frigging WAIT !!
Also we were lucky enough for Ean to allow us to Video his entire set from the wednesday night. we will be posting it soon for everyone to enjoy. It was literally out of this world. It really solidified my feeling that he is one of the best DJs on the planet !!

Could you open a thread on this, when you post the video? Also, if you could, explain what the party was about and how you got Ean to DJ for you? Sort of like explain who you are and the preparation leading up to the party too. That would be quite interesting.

Dont you people think that Ean should be playing in the big festivals (Mutek, I love techno etcā¦) i mean this guy is literally the Godfather of controllerism and an amazing dj/performer and to be honest i have seen some of the world greatest dj of many genres and this guy will definitely be in my own personal top ten list!!!
I hope it comes out before Xmas! What would be baller is if they did something similar to the VCI100 mapping on the S2/S4 mapping. Iām willing to wait for it though and pay (even though I got my S4 through DJTT).
I was at that event and letās just say that not only did Ean rock it, but everyone there had such a great appreciation for electronic music it was hard not to go crazy (even my friends who normally listen to rap and rock had a great time doing some fist pumping lol). Canāt wait for the next Bangers & Mash!

Not sure if it will be useful for me if it is only midi mode I dont work well switching to and from midi
i hope to use it as more of a starting point to add to what i already have
As far as I know, the S2 mapping is an NHL custom user mapping with all the issues you have with using such a mapping in that mode. The S4 mapping will be too. So, for example, the loop size indicator will not be showing the loop size with Eanās new mapping. I hope I am wrong though.
