can i make an album and

can i make an album and have 10 tracks. but these 10 tracks are remixes. so basically they are not originally produced by me but remixed my me.

so now if i do that, would i have to pay each artist and certain percentage if i sell ?

not mattering how much of a difference i made it sound. or even if it sounds close to the same with minor detail ?

how would this work ?

yes you would definitely have to look into “clearing” the samples/sections you have used. Contact the artists involved and get permission, for god’s sake don’t do what the verve did (look into it)
