Can someone with turntable knowledge help

Ok guys so i have traktor, a numark dj i/o soundcard. So i was wondering if anyone could advise me to some cheap turntables i could start off with.

I know technics are the bee’s knees but i don’t have money i’m looking for something rather basic just for the sake of learning.

Used vestax pdx2000s

used technics 1200s mk2.

Yeah…i started with used PDX2000’s!

RAD decks!

Got a pair of Stanton STR8-100’s.

Also …very cool!

used techics are about 200 a piece; about the same price as new entry model decks. jus sayin

where are you located?. In the states you can score 1200’s for fairly cheap.

You can find sets of 1200’s for around $500 pretty common. If your patient and can hold on to the money better deals pop up.

Yea I would try and find a used set of Technics. Even used they’ll probably be better than any other brand of TT.

I’m in ireland. So using euro’s

From my experience…I’d say wait an extra week or two and save some more money to get Tech’s. It’s well worth the wait. The Vestax are dope too, but if you’re gonna get the staple in every booth…you want Techs.

Yeah I’ll 2nd that, I really recommend getting ahold of some SL-1200/1210’s if you can, it’s best for quality, longevity, and performance in mind. But any direct drive Stanton works alright. Just stay away from the cheaper brands, and belt drives.

Okie Dokie Cheers Guys  I’ll Asses My Options When The Moneys In

Could Be Buyin Ableton Live Instead For Production. I Shall See

lol, he said asses

From experience of turntables, spending more is without doubt the best bet. Cheap turntables are just no good… Maybe look for some second hand technics 1200/1210’s or some Stanton st(r8)-150’s. That way you wont be spending too much but you’ll have something that lasts
