Can’t get VCI 100 lights to work

I’ve been searching for the past 2 hours on how to make the LEDs work. For some reason the vinyl mode and CUP turn green when i hit them but the rest wont work. Best answer i got was to used bomes midi translator. I don’t wanna shell out 100 bucks on software just to make the lights work. Any ideas?

Oh and I’m using traktor pro and my vci is version 1.2 I think. It has a green sticker next to the serial number donno what that means.

Ok I turned it off and on and now they work lol One question though. How do i make it so the light stays on. Let’s say when a loop is active i want that light to stay on. Mine just comes on when i press it and shuts off again.
