cardiac arrest sample, where to get?

hey!

i’m lookin’ for such a sample.. you know that high bleeped sound when someone got a cardiac arrest..

i searched the freesound project but didn’t find anything. :disappointed:

greets

Oh that’s easy, strap on a heart monitor and watch this:

it’s just a sine wave, innit? maybe around 1000 hz?

yeah, sounds like something that could be done with tones in Audacity

Put a dictaphone in your breast pocket and eat a kfc double down.

Jester for the love of god change your icon lol

but the lady enjoys the classy shower facilities…

t’was the vannilla ice one that caused the offense

didn’t see that…

repost as attachment?

u should check out www.freesound.org they got a lot of good samples.
and here is the cardiac arrest sample----->http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=65401
u have to sign up at that site but it´s worth!

and now i feel a deep feeling of regret… and a few other feelings that weird and confusing to me…

I whipped one up for u pretty quickly  - http://www.mediafire.com/?qtwjjiyvzk4

Runs at 130 bpm for a few beats, then gradually slows down, then its goes that constant whining sin wave noise.

Dunno if i got the frequency right as i just did it by ear, only referencing from memory - but it should be close enough

Sweet Bento, sound great!

Thanks Jason

If its not quite what you are after then just lemme know and i can do some edits on it.

For instance i could put some reverb on it to make it sound more like you are standing in a room with it.

I can alter the starting rate, make it slow, then fast, then slow again - or however you need it.

Also can edit the pitch.

I can also put more gain on it if need be.

Did not nearly have as much work as the link jester posted (it took like a whole 1 min to make :stuck_out_tongue:), but i figured you might not be after that sort of sound so i offered an alternative.

Good idea for a sound to drop into a set though !

Edit: oh and i should say that it does not sit exactly on any specific note - i put it on the closest note i could find then pitch bent it to that specific frequency. Shouldnt really be much of a big deal though.

Vanilla Ice or a guy puking out of a dumpster…dude, what the hell lol.

that’s trainspotting dude, he’s climbing out of a toilet after a pretty fucked up trip, but not the most fucked up one mind…

Isn’t it called a flatline? I’m no Dr though so don’t quote me on that.
