CDJ 2000 discontinued!
Hey Guys,
I was recently looking to pick up either a pair of CDJ 900s, or 2000s and stumbled upon this.
Apparently there are rumors floating around that the CDJ 2000 has been discontinued.
Here are my un-official sources:

Don’t know about the ‘inthemix’ link, but the DJ forums is just pure speculation. Also there is a thread on here about it.
Fr00p you for beating me to it Xone!

yeah cause pio wants to come out with a CDJ-2000 mk2 to charge you 2.5k per each cdj cause they come with wifi & bluetooth audio
im still rocking my cdj800mk1’s! tsp2 and a djm900 means ive no real need to upgrade yet!
I’m really curious what they add, I expect it will be insignificant but who knows and in any case it is worth waiting since the regular 2000s will go way down.

I’d expect that any new player is likely to be announced around the time of WMC in a few weeks time. Pioneer are usually there en masse and it seems like a good opportunity to launch it then with so many high profile djs about, just like they did with the djm900.
Musikmesse Frankfurt it is likely to be 3-21 - 3-24.
My Birthday! I was thinking about getting a pair for myself as a gift!
You are pretty generous with yourself.
I hope the new ones won’t be too tempting. Only have had the CDJ2000s for like two months.
i mean seriously what else can you add to 2000s? Zoom in waves, networking and slip mode? I mean what other features are left?
Revamping the whole cue-point stuff would be sweet. It’s tedious right now. Also three cue-points don’t cut it for a Traktorist.
I’m also waiting for a button which gives you Lil Jon ‘Yeahs’ upon pushing it.

Really? ive a lot of experience with mk2’s and played on mk1’s in a bar last week and there is such a difference in the jog wheel, it just felt so hollow.
