CDJ 900 Nexus. Should I wait?

So the CDJ 900 Nexus is available for pre-order at $1399 with a 15% discount (so about $1200). Do you think once it’s actually released there will be a better price point? I kinda wanna wait, but I’m also not sure how long that 15% off will last. Suggestions?

if you need them get them. But I personally would hunt until I got them for 2 grand for both. At least thats what I am going to do.

2k for both new? That’s gonna be a couple of months, no? My MK1s got rained on two weeks ago. Need a pair ASAP. :cry:

for right now yes, but a few months you could find it. Like I said if you need it now I would jump on it.

There’s an ad on CL for 2 CDJ 2K Nexuses (is that a word?) for $2400. Would you go for that instead?

I’m so disappointed with the fact that the 900 nexus have flat screens. Huge turn off :disappointed:.

So I had 2000 nexuses and got them for 2800. I sold them to save some money, getting married soon and such. But I am waiting to reinvest in 900s to fill my void. So I know I could get 900 nexuses eventually for 2K within the next few months.

Personally I like the flat screen, but thats me.

I got them as a christmas gift for myself, had 2k nxs before but sold aswell to get some cash (didnt have space for them either).

now there is space again and these players fill that void perfectly! :slight_smile:)))

beside, we’ve been using flat cdj1000’s for plenty of years and we didn’t complain, it’s not a big deal. they probably wanted to differentiate the cdj2000’s visually from the rest.
