I’m sure it’s in one of the introduction videos from NI.
‘verified’ that about 10 posts ago lol. It works.
and if you want EQ on your sample decks you can still use traktor’s internal EQ over midi in external mode.
Missed that huge change then haha. Read more about what people didnt like than what they did in that damn thread. Thanks guys!
Don’t mean to be a bigger pain in the arse, but I have been searching all day on the NI forums and website to 1000% make sure that I can run 4 channels externally with the Audio2 and T2 Pro.
Currently waiting on NI reply, but know that takes a while.
Anyone have a link or video that states this is true?
it’s true. it works. trust me.
I’m going to have to take your word for it I guess haha
Hey mate, could you let me know how this is done? Are the EQs mapped to a controller, not my mixer?
Assuming you’re still planning on routing 4 decks through your audio 2 into 2 channels of an external mixer, yes.
Of course, everything you have on external mixer channel 1 will be affected by the relevant EQs on the external mixer and the same for channel 2, but you can independently control the EQs of the sample deck without affecting the track deck (or the other way round) by using the internal mixer with midi.
Thanks! Is there a certain location within the settings somewhere where I can select the internal mixer? Or is it just like in 1.2.7 where you have the option to select the layout where you can see the internal mixer while still mixing externally?
Then just map away?
You know if you went and downloaded the free trial you could find all this stuff out yourself ![]()
whether the internal mixer is displayed or not, it’s always enabled. External mixing mode just disables the line faders and crossfader. EQs will always work via midi whether you can see them or not.
Gotcha. Thanks for the help man!
