Lmao!!!

Lol, he would go into Insomnia after all that, too.

Thats f’n awesome!

what a wanker… i would have given him another corona, through the air that is…right on top of the mixer so he couldn’t act like a fool anymore…

i am wit you on that olafmol,

lol geeze guys no need to get nasty - if you want to criticize please keep it constructive

This is great. I wish i would have thought of it.

The crowd seemed to like it dude :stuck_out_tongue:

F!@*…Im missing out on so many cool videos of funny shit and new music just because im stucked behind the faking GG Great Firewall of China where you has no rights at all..damn boobtube has been on the shitlist since March…>=\

If you use use the TOR browser you should have no trouble bybassing draconian censorship :stuck_out_tongue:

Well lets hope that no-one thinks the same about you and bottles you at your gig. But then i guess most people arent so critical.

Yeah he obviously knew his audience would like it. Certainly not something i would do but you do whats right for your own crowd.

Its a funny gimmick and a bit of showmanship .

people, next time i will put a big smiley behind my statement..
still, he’s a wanker…

total tosser haha

No putting a big smiley isnt going to cut it - keep the criticism contrstructive, if you dont agree with something theres a better to express yourself than by just calling him a wanker. If we all went around calling someone a wanker because they were doing something that we didnt agree with, then the forums would be filled full of abuse as opposed to actual useful information.

My point being if you want to pay out on someone because they are doing something that you dont agree with then you could atleast do it in a tactful way and explain why you think anyone shouldnt be showing any showmanship like this. Calling him a wanker doesnt help anyone, while explaining why you think hes a wanker is more useful to everyone and helps people when developing their own peice of showmanship.

Also at the end of the day it means that everyone doesnt think its alright to hurl abuse at stuff we dont like. If there were only one rule on these forums than it would be that criticism should be kept constructive. Please respect that rule, its one of the things thats made this forum such a friendly and useful place to begin with.

ok fair enough… my apologies, maybe it’s the language barrier or something..

anyway, if i wanna see stupid circus acts by a clown acting as a DJ i go to the circus, maybe that’s another way to describe the reaction i get when i see DJ’s acting like this guy…

Olaf

Its called ‘showmanship’ .
I wouldnt have done it but then again he may not think that stopping the music and saying “Whoever just handed me a request for Britney can kiss my ass” over the Mic to 400 people was a good idea. It was very unprofessional but i got a huge cheer from the crowd and we just carried on.
You gotta know your crowd if you wanna pull stunts. That guy obviously did.

I personally think that’s a nice piece of showmanship
I’d agree with Karlos though, it’s not something I would’ve done…

Anyways, I think everyone should think about a few little funny things for his sets. Not to look cool, but to have the crowd recognize you… If you do a little funny trick then the ppl at your party will tell their friends…
My problem usually is that I’m not getting noticed at all… It sometimes even happens that people don’t even notice that it’s me playing the music  (if it’s not a regular DJ booth).
So I was thinking about a few nice little stunts myself… Didn’t come up with a solution yet…

What do you guys do to please your crowd and pull a little bit of attention to you?
