Change midifighter name?

Change midifighter name?

Hey All,
I’ve read somewhere here that you can change the name of a midifighter with the hex file. I have just received my second midi fighter, am not a coder but I’m also not scared of technical tinkering if I have the right instruction!
Can anyone help/advise? I’d like to do this so Traktor doesn’t keep getting confused… :confused:

Some discussion on it. In short though, I’m not sure it will work like you want.

It seems djproben was able to successfully change the name of one, but Traktor is still not seeing it as another MF.
