You would definitely void your warranty by opening the S4, and the LEDs are on the circuit boards. Unless you have the equipment and experience for unsoldering and resoldering pcb boards you would most likely end up with a very expensive paper weight.

+1! I did all the LEDs in my old car so I can’t see an S4 being impossible if you know what you’re doing.
