Channel settings for warm deep house synth sounds

Just wondering if anyone on here has some good tips or examples of channel strip settings that they apply to synths to get a nice deep house synth sound. I can get an okay sound using delay, reverb, overdrive (Creamy or warm setting) and cutting the highs out..

Really depends on the channel strip and the “type” of deep house you’re interested in, so it’s hard to tell you. What channel strip(s) are you using?

There’s not really a “one size fits all” answer to this as it depends on your source material. VST synths tend to be quite bright so do some surgical eq on the high frequencies and maybe scoop out a bit around 3000Hz. You could try some analogue modeled filters for a more gritty sound perhaps?
