Check My Math

I was wanting to add a turntable to my setup and upgrade to Scratch Pro a few months ago was reading up on mixers and the Audio 8 etc… (<-Newbs try this before posting). Then Traktor 2 news was floating around so I put that on hold. Now that I’m reading through the latest info on Traktor 2 I’m thinking my best bet would be to ditch my Mixtrack and Audio Kontrol to buy an S4 and spend the $139 for the Scratch Pro 2 upgrade. I would then be able to just plug in a turntable with control vinyl and get busy? The S4 will work like a Traktor Certified Mixer? Correct? No need for the cables or soundcard?

the s4 has an audio interface built into it.

So yes. The built in audio interface will work like a Traktor Certified Mixer and there’s no need for the multi core cables or Audio 8/10/eleventy.
