Bayern all the way, I’m a spurs fan. And a German student.
Bayern Munich for sure. Ribery cannot be stopped.
Just to clarify for those who aren’t aware of the situation in England, if Chelsea win, spurs (tottenham) won’t qualify for the champions league.

argh!
Héhé…the great Didier did it again…
How one man can make a difference in a game like that.
so happy to be a chelsea fan right now! even though they won in the ugliest manner possible…
i didnt think it was ugly…i thought it was a fantastic game…they withstood all that bayern could throw at them…the keeper needs a huge pat on the back for saving Robben’s PK…high drama…
Schweinstieger was heartbroken, i felt bad for him…but it wasn’t like Bayern had every oppurtunity…
i can’t wait for Euro 2012, I think I am going to revolve my vacation around the final…
it was a great defensive display, but it was awful to watch. stifling football, the same as against barcalona. i’d rather see them get beat and enjoy watching the match than watch that week in week out, not enjoy the games, and see them win 5 trophies in a season. hope di matteo doesnt get the job as manager tbh, he’s an excellent manager he’s just too italian…
if you remember, when ac, inter and juventus were playing that type of counterattacking defensive stifling football, the english media went mental saying it was disgusting that they were playing football like that, and it was barely football at all. now its a ‘great defensive display’. they won ugly. they won by sitting back and having 10 men behind the ball on the edge of the box. and drogba up front. they played mourinho’s chelsea style of football, which i absolutely HATED.
Bayern missed every chance they had…if Gomez composes himself atleast once…it’s a different game…Cech is a monster…
Did u see JT at the end - a bit embarassing don’t you think … With his kit on and everything …
Sure he was there through the earlier rounds but the way he got sent off in the semi says everything about him …
I still cannot quite believe what happened there. Originally I live about 50 kilometres from Munich but had to watch the game in an English pub because I was on exchange in the UK for the last semester. One of the girls behind the bar asked me (and the 2 other Bayern supporters at that pub) to leave quickly after Bayern’s victory because the Chelsea fans where starting to throw chairs around… that was in minute 86. Turned out a bit different in the end ![]()
But I guess that is the story of my (football) life. The first important match i remember watching was that goddamn 1999 Champions League final (me being 8 years old at that point) and after that came 2 more lost finals (2010, last saturday), lost world cup final (2002) and a lost european cup final (2008). Oh and guess which English team i was supporting while being in England? Yeah right, Spurs.
