ewwww K is nasty…
K is nasty but gets you going lol
White Lightning
Only £2 for a 2 litre bottle or something - instant stomach ulcer - happy days ![]()
Tesco Orchard Mills dry - £2.73 for 2 litres. Fuelled my first year of uni.
And take my advice, avoid the 3L bottles of ‘strong dry cider’.
Had ridiculously good nights with this. A few of these fuel beer pong games for hours.
I love apple Somersby, but there ain’t any other proper ciders than alco pops around here.
And at 0.80£ a 0,33l pop they don’t come cheap.
bulmers over here
Nothing beats proper West Country zider though! ![]()
Heck’s Perry is awesome too. I’m not keen on the straw pressed cider, all a bit too rustic for my liking.
Last time i drunk cider was in 95 as a student. Drunk two plastic riggers and fell out the second storey YMCA window.
You win.

Who said Strongbow, K or White Lightening?

Westons Vintage is what I’ve been drinking this weekend. A mere 8.2%. A more sensible but still delicious tipple is the Sainsbury’s cider in the glass bottles with the orange label.
Went to the East coast of the UK last weekend and was shocked to find they just don’t have decent cider there.
Also, if buying cider from a roadside seller/farm, always check out the sign they have - the more poorly spelt the sign (eg SIDA), the more roughneck the cider.
I can just imagine a guy with a sign “CHEAP SIDA”
This most definitely, loads of farms 'round my way do this (live in the South West, UK). Proper cloudy scrumpy, sold in translucent 5l containers, only way to do it. ![]()
White cider and even stuff like Bulmers/Magners is just shite compared to proper cider/perry IMHO, no contest. I went to a local minifest back in the Summer, Dreadzone were playing: 25 ciders on and 12 real ales, it was nirvana.
