CJD400s to CDJ 800mk2s…Questions!
As stated in my previous post, I am going to be using cdjs with Tpro as well as an Audio2. I was informed that the CDJ400 has built in soundcards to allow me to use ASIO4All to combine into one if I choose not to use the Audio2.
Can anyone confirm that the upgrade from 400s to 800smk2 will still funtion the same as if I were plugging in my 400s?
Is the Audio2 all I need to do this, or must I upgrade to an Audio4?
Do you plan on using the CDJ-800’s with software? Because, and correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve always wondered about this, I think that only CDJ-400’s, 2000’s, and 950’s are able to control software while the rest only play using CD’s…

The 800s don’t have soundcards, so you’ll need a soundcard with inputs like the audio4/8. You’ll also need Traktor Scratch Pro with timecode.

Well they didn’t even arrive yet, and for another $50 each I could get those. But as already stated and I found out from searching a bit deeper, they are correct, no soundcards, no effects and no go with TPro.
