Cleaning CDJ

So finally got my CDJ800mk2’s, but they definitely feel like they could do with a service :roll_eyes:
Can’t afford to send them off so wondering what the best way to clean them is…in particular the tempo faders and the jog wheels (they feel a bit scratchy).

and go at it. Was wondering if theres anything I should avoid or any tips people have? Particularly with the jogwheel as I don’t want to mess anything up.

There’s also a cue button that’s a bit stuck. Can’t test if it stills works until I get my mixer.

CDJ’s are pretty easy to service. Open them up and clean them. Jogwheels roll on some tiny plastic bits that might break, but they’re available parts too. You’ll get the hang of it if you open them with Youtube instructions. If you open them, replace CUE and PLAY button switches which are about 2-3£@Ebay. You don’t need “official” parts for them, replacements are just fine.
