Close dialogue boxes in Traktor with midi button?

Hi Mappers,

I cannot seem to find an answer on this.

Is it possible to close a dialogue box with a midi command in Traktor?

ie, I have a button mapped to ‘Show in Playlists’. I press that button when a track is highlighted in the browser which opens a dialogue box with the playlists. But to close that box, i have to use the mouse to press “Close”.

Is there any way of mapping that Close command? Or a generic ‘OK’ command for other dialogue boxes?

I can map a key to ‘Enter’ which will close the dialogue box if it is in focus, but i have to use the mouse to bring the box to focus every time which defeats the purpose.

Thoughts?

BROWSER/List/Clear does the trick for me.

Wicked, and thanks. Could NI have made this more obscure?

You’re welcome  True - but perhaps that command has more than one use case

Has NI ever published a list of all mappable commands and an explanation of their function? I cant seem to find one.

I don’t think so, Traktorbible maybe?

This page is kind of outdated (TP 2.5), but you easily find common commands by hovering over the desired control.

But I think, there is no kind of “OK” midi command.

Maybe it works like in a browser, where you can select different dialogues by using the TAB button and then press ENTER to confirm???
