is that a white Kontrol X1 that I see in a couple of those pics? I’ve never seen any color other than black…
It looks like a skin. I dont think they made white ones like they did the F1

Yessirs! It definitely is a skin! However it’s white instead of Silver like Rocking posted. The skin was actually given to JesC by 12 inch skins as a gift I believe, then he applied it onto his X1 which I later purchased from him.
Awesome setup.. I’ve been thinking the Maschine might be my next addition. It looks so at home in those pics.
Honestly I am a super slow learner so at first I didn’t use it much. However i’ve been learning a lot about it recently, and to be honest … it’s hands down my favorite piece of gear (both software & hardware) that I own! It’s amazing. Everythings amazing about it.
What I end up doing now is creating everything in Maschine itself, and then dragging & dropping the midi or audio samples from Maschine and re-arranging it all in Ableton cause I feel like Ableton is way better during the mixing & mastering stages.
It’s well worth it, if my studio got stolen the first piece of hardware i’d get after replacing my computer would be Maschine.
Moved into a new place and it’s taking time to setup my entire studio but I just got a MF3D and am stoked!

Overall I think this is a nice piece of music as a first track. Your special chips and gun sounds made me laugh as I really felt entertained by them, very nice idea!
To give you some little advise how to make it even better here’s what I would suggest:
- In my personal opinion the riser FX at 1:48 is by far too loud (and with headphones the panning is driving me crazy
) - The kick/bomb sound at 4:07 is clipping (at least sounds like that)
Btw: It was a pleasure to read about your cooperation with your mate and it really sounds like you have the right passion to make music!

Still have to finish cleaning out the new place’s garage for my studio, but here’s a quick picture of some of my updated gear . Pretty much got rid of the S4 and got CDJ’s & DJM 850 K’s.
Moved everything into the garage. Still have a lot of cleaning up to do, and painting so I figured i’d just throw up a few pics I took with my iPhone. There are a few toys that aren’t shown in these pics, but once I get around to taking nicer pics with my DSLR i’ll post pics of everything in full swing .
