I have restored my current computer to its old self, i didnt have much on it. I dont do games or anything, just normal guy stuff. I was wondering if this was “acceptable” to do this way until I can save enough money to buy another computer.
The Processor I have is Intel(R) Core™ i3, 2.4GHz, is this an acceptable processor for the Pro 2 software?
If i can use this computer, how hard is it to upload the software on a new computer and quickly get the ball rolling?
You shouldn’t be watching pr0n on your DJ laptop! lol. Keep it clean, and like the poster above said, set up a separate partition at the very least. DJ software isn’t too resource intensive - your computer will be fine. I’ve run Traktor 2 on a 1.63ghz core 2 duo without any issues.
diesel, sam, you both should have no probs. i’m on an i3 2.27Ghz, 4GB ram, win 7 64-bit and I can even switch to firefox and browse the net while mixing 2 tracks!
set up a partition (especially if you’re gunna browse “guy” websites lol) purely for djing, follow the windows optimization tips on the NI website and make sure traktor is up to date
