Consumer Electronics Show (Las Vegas next weekend)
Anybody from djtt going to CES this year? For those who don’t know, this is a huge trade show of new electronics gear; while it’s not dj- or music-focused, there are a lot of companies represented that many of us would be interested in. My favorite part is all the audiophile companies who set up their gear in suite after suite in the Venetian… Lots of fun computer toys and such as well.
I’ve dreamed of going to CES for years.
Is entry open to everyone? Or is it like NAMM?
Officially it’s like NAMM but they are very cool about letting anyone in who wants to be if they can list some kind of affiliation – it’s just a matter of filling out an online form; I don’t think these get reviewed by anyone. Best part is it’s free if you register early; otherwise it’s $100.
I’d love it if you could post / PM me the link to the registration. I may just drive up to Vegas for it!

Definitely worth the entrance fee; it’s a mesmerizing amount of technology (and it’s just a crazy scene in general). Bonus – there’s an annual porn convention the same time every year elsewhere on the strip. 
i go to ces every year its pretty cool to see all the new tech and gear coming out not to mention the free swag stuff u can get if u know how to ask.
