Just thought i’d share this cool video, I have no idea if this dude is on the forums or not, but definitely enjoyed watching what he did / does with his S4 + MF Combo. I feel / hear others talking about as well how sometimes in the middle of the set you feel like you have nothing to do etc, and I feel like he makes decent use of the effects. Sure he overdoes it sometimes, but it still adds his own flavor to tracks.

Yeah, he uses super heavy FX but it looks like he’s having a lot of fun, I don’t know if id use it as much as him, but id definitely get in to it. As for his other MFs, i guess he used to use two a long time ago before the PRO / customs came out? I tried looking for a video with just the classics and couldn’t find one .
And np! I’m tired of seeing people talking bout selling their S4s, we gotta keep the S4 love up!
I’ve seen this guys videos before. He always goes really heavy on the efx, it’s a tad overkill for my liking but incredibly fun none the less (Kinda like scratching, it’s fun but does anyone really wanna listen to it for extended periods of time?). Either way his track selection is pretty spot on.
His video’s had me set on buying a MF Pro Beatmasher… that is until Native Instruments announced the F1.
How/what did Farace do at 0:37 for that freeze/chop effect? I’ve seen that used quite a bit, and I think its sick! Is it delay+beatmasher+stop & restart track? Just want to know for sure.
Some really cool mixing on the S4 too. Wish I was as good
