Could you pass the US Citizenship Test?

My Green card expires in a few months so I have to get my citizenship sorted. So many people have been like “you’ll have to study for a test!!!” I got sick of hearing this and so decided to take the online sample test. You can generate 4 sets of questions at a time. I did 3 sets of 4.

The online test is here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.d72b75bdf98917853423754f526e0aa0/?vgnextoid=afd6618bfe12f210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=afd6618bfe12f210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Take 3 sets of 4 and let us know how you did. I’ll share my score in a bit. I won’t lie.

Btw, the real test contains a massive 6 questions…

I got all 12. They’re pretty rudimentary. The one trick question is about naming an actual right granted to citizens, which is the right to run for federal office. I think most people would answer freedom of religion or speech. I remember a question just like that in school.

Haha. My wife got all of them right except that one. Many of them were terribly worded.

10/12

11/12

Appu - “Woohoo! Now which way to the unemployment office?”

12/12. that test is easy as piss though.

12/12… Nothin like good ole 'Mercia

9/12

Got one wrong in every set of questions.

That said, I aint 'mekin, only been there a couple of times, and haven’t studied any of their history.

I do watch a fair amount of movies though, so I would think if I gave myself 30 mins of prep time, I would probably pass.

What happens if you don’t pass first time?

You go to Canada.

Amen.

HEY! No googleing alot boys!!

Not funny. -__-

I would totally fail that test…I guess I’ll stay here in Canada.

Looks like I won’t be getting into America anytime soon

Sorry but what I’ve seen from funny clips on the net many Americans would get an F in that test.
I got 11/12

I’m always a fan of the “something but” opener. I believe it’s from the same company that created, “I’m not racist but…”

same as “no offense” really.

ignore everything in a sentence including and after “but”

come to new zealand instead … free sheep at the door
