I just DJ’d a prom in Georgetown, TN…about 30-45 minutes north of Chattanooga, TN…25 students in an old ass BARN/Church…these are the type of gigs I get now that i’m in TN besides weddings…
man do I miss Atlanta…next booked gig = wedding on Jekyll Island
lmao, you wouldn’t believe it but NO, played TOP 40 of course and some waka, kanye tracks like Lambo Merci…and other southern tracks I do not like but play to get paid
NO, and I should have b/c it was in a church…my buddy came to shoot some promo pics and video for a site i’m about to launch finally…he got a real good shot with me, my setup, overlooking the balcony…I should have rocked the Jesus pose for sure…it was a bitch getting the sub up the stairs, had it been a bigger sub it wouldn’t have fit
how did you play on that table? My buddy has the same one, and anytime he has a house party and the decks come out, the needle skips like nothing else. Not the most stable thing thats for sure.
I don’t do juggle routines that how…haha… it works pretty good for me…right side skips more then I would like it to BUT in relative mode it doesn’t matter… this table wobbles no matter what… I need to upgrade eventually but most venues already have good tables that I can use…this particular one DID NOT
It wouldn’t have mattered at this gig It felt like the floor could collapse at any time from all the kids dancing below me.
Its very rare that I spin regular vinyl anymore BUT when I do I adjust the feet to make sure both decks are level so they don’t skip. I use m-447 and it is rare for it to skip BUT it does on this table
working on it, trying to find time to do it… I sold my mk2 b/c I didn’t have time, bought this one for $150 and still don’t have much time to mess with it
