I’ve honestly wondered how long someone like Craze takes to make up a routine like that and perform it exactly how he invisioned. I know it would take me forever to think something like that up and get my sounds picked out and hot cued and what not…then again it is technically called DJ’n, but it’s completely different from what I do. I dnno…just curious

This is a showcase.

It’s what a Scratch or Performance DJ does in 5 or less mins.

Pretty much like what you would see in a DMC competition.

They can obviously not do this in a club for an hour or 2.

I find that they usually break the showcase down…and spread it out…so they have their lil tricks between each track etc.

to answer people’s questions. when a guy is preparing for dmc. usually they use the full year to get their routine down, practice it several times a day every day. ive read that craze loves routines so much, he just works on them all the time anyway cause its what he loves.

a guy of his calibur. probably spent a couple months on this. the rest of us mortals would need a few years to get a routine like that down.

I’m unable to get my sample decks to immediately re-trigger the drum samples as in this video. My one-shot sample mode for the sample deck starts then stops the sample. How can I re-trigger the sample even if the sample has not yet finished playing as in the video?

Thanks if anyone can help. Sorry if this is a basic question! =)

switch to hold from toggle? without looking properly i can only guess tbh

That sounds right, I just couldn’t find a simple setting (checkbox, radio button) to switch from hold to toggle… If anyone knows how to make the Sample Decks retrigger the sample even when the sample hasn’t finished playing let me know please! =)

It seems I would have to create a new setting in controller manager? That page just seems kinda advanced for me when all I want to do is play my sample decks like drums… =)

somone should get a download link for those tracks, i know it flux P got 2 know but i want his versions!!!

Yeah, you won’t find them. They’re his edits of the tracks that have samples tossed in at certain times. You could make it very easily yourself with basic editing software.
