Having a MISERABLE winter down here T - a warning of snow today which is VERY unusual in SA. A week ago we were celebrating the arrival of spring! Crazy stuff.
Yes we are indeed in winter. Most of the snows are restricted to the southern alps and the deeps south though. Auckland has seen its first snows since WWII
