Crossfader in Traktor with VCI-100
Hello all, maybe I’m overlooking an obvious key or function in traktor but when I use the crossfader of my VCI-100 it acts an ‘absolute mixer’. Meaning, I can only use 3 steps while mixing: far left, the middle, and far right. What I want is being able to take incremental steps with my crossfader. Is that possible?
turn your VCI around and turn the crossfader knob(its labeled C F curve), that will effect how your crossfader works, the setting you are using is made for scratch artists who want instant cuts. if you want a smooth transition turn other side 
If its not that its your midi settings, but try this first

has anyone ever successfully swapped out the crossfader for something better? p&g or anything?
nope- but there was some info on this that I posted in the NI forums (before ours came up)
