Cruise Mode Crossfade Is Rubbish

I am still using Traktor version 1.21 because I am getting a new computer soon.

Did they fix the crossfade yet?

Is it too much to ask for the FADE OUT track to fade (let’s say you set it to 8 seconds) and then the FADE IN track to pop in at full volume at 6-7 seconds into the fade out? Like radio stations have been doing it for decades.

Smooth and Sharp does nothing. The auto mix sounds like my little brother on the decks.

Am I going to have to regress to 2004 and download Winamp with the SQRSOFT crossfade plug-in (worked like a champ.)

Or is the auto mix in MIXXX software superior to Traktor?

iTunes equals worse. I need a soft fade out with a hot fade in.

this (REAL JUKEBOX???) would be perfect after I slide the FADE IN to “0”

Set fade in and fade out cue points.

no one answered my OP question. Does Traktor 2.5 still suck in cruise mode?

it’s crazy to think that I have to rely on a program written 10 years ago (2002) to do something simple that iTunes and Traktor cannot comprehend. I just downloaded WinAmp and this plug-in and it work just as flawlessly amazing ass it did back in the day. Hats off to this dude: Winamp

And iTunes and Traktor should get it together. A proper crossfade is not a constant linear mix. C’mon man ! Radio station DJ’s have been doing this since the 40’s !!!
