cue point juggling in ableton
ok i am trying to add some more stuff to my live set and i want to do cue point juggling. i have a midi keyboard how would I go about doing that, could i just set the warp markers as cue points and put it in the simpler to do something like that.
i don’t know but here is the idea of what i want to do.
You need to cut track up into different sections, so each song is comprised of say 6 clips, then you juggle by playing the different clips.
hmmm alot of work thats means i would have to preset chop the songs i know i want to juggle. i might try it out.
Yup cue juggles in Traktor a hell of alot easier.
hahah i know but i don’t want to get tracktor just for cue juggling lol. but might work out for the best tho cause i know when i get a new effect i am so excited and i use it on everysong. i can just use it for certain songs on “that track everybody loves” just to give it to em diffrent ya know
Traktor also does beatjumps really well, sadly i haven’t got ableton to do that yet.
Going backwards and forwards though the track in leaps of numbers of beats. For example forwards or backwards 4 beats. 8 beats and 16 beats. You can do it with a mouse easy enough, but i haven’t worked out how to do it with a midi controller.
