Custom Firmware Updating?

Just out of pure curiosity,

Is there any known way of updating my VCI-100’s Firmware to the DJTT 1.3 Version WITHOUT having the Firmware Updater? I want to get the performance benefits, but cannot get my hands on an updater…

The Firmware is hardware not software so no. It’s relatively easy to put in.

Hi Russel,

If you look around you can find a schematic somewhere on this forum or the NI forum, if you have a soldering Iron and basic skills it fairly easy to build.

I emailed the shop about the firmware upgrade kits and got a reply saying it’ll be here in a week or two.
