Custom MIDI Fighter 3D LED animations?

I stumbled upon this, and I was wondering how I could get my MIDI Fighter 3D to perform a custom light show similar to the one in the video. I read something about MIDI commands in the description. Any idea?

You could sequence them in Ableton sending the right MIDI notes and velocities back to your device (you can consult the user manual for that), this applies to any controller with LED feedback. Disable the default Spark animation so it doesn’t interfere with what you sequence.
